Base SAP ArchiveLink Configuration

2min

Both docuflow ECM and docuflow Content Server require basic ArchiveLink configuration for connectivity. This involves creating a docuflow Protocol via transaction OAA3 and one (or more) Content Repository ID via transaction OAC0.

NOTE: Each repository ID will equate to a P8 domain. If you have multiple P8 domains, a repository ID for each will need to be created.

Additional ArchiveLink configuration may be required depending on the integration pattern implemented such as creation of doctypes (OAC2), assigning link tables (OAC3) and so forth. This configuration is not outlined in this guide – refer to the relevant docuflow configuration guide for further information.

Optionally if you have big-bucket organization of content across the taxonomy within your P8 folder structure, you may choose to create a repository id for each, such as: Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, Health and Safety, etc. Please work with your docuflow team to determine the best setup to meet your requirements. Regardless, a minimum of one repository is required (and for the purpose of basic setup and configuration) and is outlined below:

  1. Create DOCUFLOW Protocol in OAA3:

2. Make sure the changes are saved and captured in a transport so that they can be transported to other environments.
