Import Category and Document Types

Use these instructions to use a set of CSV files to use to import the Categories and Document types into the system

For Employee Document Upload Rules/Categories:

Go to 'Import and Export Data'

For Categories:

  • Select the action to perform: Import Data
  • Select Generic Object: Category
  • File: CSV with your Category Data
  • Purge Type: Incremental Load
  • Click 'Import'

To check the imported data:

Go to 'Manage Data'

  • Under 'Search' select Category
  • Under the selection dropdown, the values should be shown

Complete the above steps for:

  • Category Link Card 1.csv
  • Category Link Card 3.csv
  • Document Type Link Card 1.csv
  • Document Type Link Card 3.csv
  • Document Type Link Card 1-category.csv
  • Document Type Link Card3-CategoryLinkCard3.csv
