This section has information on how to install the BTP CLI if it does not alreay exist in your environment.

The CLI can be downloaded from: [https://tools.hana.ondemand.co](https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/#cloud)

**NOTE:** The above tools will require a Java Runtime Environment (JRE). If you do not have one scroll down on the page to the SAP JVM section and download a version appropriate for your Operating System

Download the above tools and unpack to a system directory. Install the JRE if required.

If you just installed a JRE, the tools require **‘JAVA\_HOME’** be defined.  This will be the path where the JRE was downloaded to.

**set JAVA\_HOME=C:\\\*your directory path\* \JVM\sapjvm\_8\jre**
