Configuring Mime Types for Box

locate the content types properties file found under the installation directory in the jre\lib directory a sample of this file can also be found under the installation folder in the config directory as content types properties box this sample file can be placed in the jre\lib folder with the necessary adjustments and the box portion of the filename removed edit the file using your preferred text editor and for the mime types make the second part of the mime type match the box format that the file extensions should be associated with for example application/msword \ description=microsoft word document;\ file extensions= doc, dot
